To recruit parents into The Peirce Parents Support Group ( PPSG ).
To enlist the assistance and support of the non - committee members of the PPSG.
CODE OF ETHICS AND CONDUCT
1. The function of the PPSG is to support the school in its quest for excellence in education. All members are expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct and respect to staff, pupils, fellow members and parents of the school.
2. Members shall not undermine the authority of the Principal and the goals of the school.
3. Members may not use the good name of PPSG to communicate or authorize any transaction with any individual or public in general without prior approval of the PPSG Committee.
4. Members should always respect the decision of the Committee or Advisor (the Principal of the school).
5. Members may wish to submit written request, query, feed back on any issues relating to the school or PPSG for attention or action. The decision of the PPSG Committee, if required, is conclusive. However, a member may appeal to the Principal on his/her case if he/she does not accept the Committee’s decision. The decision of the Principal is final and no further appeal will be entertained.
6. A member sitting in the Committee, who has vested interest in any issue raised and which requires a consensus by the committee, must abstain from voting.
7. Members must always conduct themselves in the best of behavior and protocol at all times in the school’s premise and/or when presenting the good name of PPSG in public.
8. Members must not criticise the school or the PPSG publicly. Any grievances or unhappiness with the school or PPSG should be brought to the attention of the Principal or the Committee respectively for consideration and action.
9. Members must wear the member’s badge at all official functions relating to school or PPSG.
10. Member should always respect fellow members in opinions and be prepared to lend a helping hand in all activities of PPSG.
11. Members must take ownership of PPSG and continuously work for the good and improvement of the organisation.
