DADs For Life is a movement that seeks to inspire, mobilize and involve
father to become good influencers in their children’s lives…..for life.
It is aimed at getting all fathers to ACT-
1. To be aware of the importance of their roles as husbands and fathers;
2. To Commit themselves to become positive influencers in their children’s lives;
3. To Train and Equip themselves with age appropriate knowledge and skills
so as to help their children realize their full potential.
DADs for life also seeks to encourage fathers and Father-figures with the calling
and capacity to help mentor and Coach children/youths whose dads are absent.
DADs for life is supported by MCYS and National Family Council.Its aim is to raise
current efforts of promoting responsible fatherhood in Singapore to an even higher
level.
Research evidence demonstrates that children do better academically,psychologically,
emotionally, and socially when their fathers are actively involved and have a positive
relationship with them.
So for all the fathers out there, what are you waiting for?
